A woman made a horrible discovery in her oven after coming back from holiday.Posting her unfortunate find to Reddit, the tourist explained she had been away for more than two weeks, only to come home from the trip to something rather frightful.

She wrote: "We have been on vacation for 17 days and just came back to this. I presume it’s mould, but no one remembers if they left something in the oven for the duration."Unsure of what to do about the discovery, she added: "Is this safe to clean?" She also added a video showing what looked like fluff hanging from the top of the appliance.

Fellow social media users were quick to chime in with suggestions and advice, but some said the woman was looking at the possibility of having to replace her whole oven. One person commented: "Almost looks like a mouse or rat has pulled out the heat insulation from your oven."Another said: "It’s not fungus.
