Ellie Moxham said it was like treading on eggshells around him, as he undermined and criticised her. But even she could not have predicted how far he would go when he lost it as they spent a night together in a Manchester hotel.
And she claims he is still trying to control her while he is behind bars. Riley and Ms Moxham had previously bought tickets for a gig at the Apollo in Manchester.
By the time the day came around, on November 10, 2022, their relationship was deteriorating, almost completely broken down, and she had decided she wanted to move on.
