Hamilton road will close for essential works next week

A road in Hamilton will be closed next week while essential works are carried out.The council will upgrade the surface on the part of Douglas Street that runs between Clydesdale Street and Caird Street from 8am on August 7 until 8pm on August 11.The road will be closed between these dates and a diversion will be in place via Douglas Street, the A72 (Almada Street), the B7071 (Bothwell Road) and Caird Street.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
