Richard Madeley and Charlotte Hawkins had a moment of awkward silence as they teamed up for the latest Good Morning Britain broadcast.

The pair fronted the show on Monday (April 1) amid changes to the presenting line-up over the Easter holiday. It may not have passed some by that Easter Monday this year also marks April Fools Day - but it seemed to momentarily slip Richard and Charlotte's minds when they were pranked live on air.

Charlotte was seen trying on a pearl necklace that were said to have been owned by late Hollywood icon Marilyn Monroe.
