Gary Lineker has announced that he won't be hosting this week's Match of the Day due to a "rotten cold". The former England footballer, who has been the face of BBC's flagship football programme for over 20 years, shared the news on social media.
He wrote: "Some good news for some: I've been silenced....with a rotten cold that seems to be lasting forever. Hate missing hosting @BBCMOTD but I'll be watching".
Mark Chapman, who usually hosts Match of the Day 2, will step in for Lineker on Saturday night's show, which airs on BBC One at 10.30pm.
He and his guests will discuss highlights from seven Premier League matches, including games involving Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham.
