Football match raises large sum for Lanarkshire support charity

A football match in aid of a Lanarkshire life-limiting illness support charity was held last month, which raised a total of £120.The charity match for The Haven, which provides practical, emotional and bereavement support to individuals, families and carers across Lanarkshire, was recently organised by local community member Shaun Wilkes and was held last month at Toryglen Regional Football Centre.The 23-year-old spent several weeks organising the charity match, contacting his friends and other people, who he thought could help, to come together and support a worthwhile cause.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
