South Lanarkshire school pupils compete in science, technology, engineering and maths challenge

Thirteen teams of S2 pupils from 10 schools in South Lanarkshire have successfully completed a competition designed to launch them into stellar careers in science, technology, engineering, and maths (STEM).

Pupils showcased their hard work to a panel of expert judges, plus guests from industry, government and the pupils’ families at the finals.Viridor and South Lanarkshire Council were partners in supporting the competition which saw 12 teams of pupils from the nine schools complete a STEM challenge focusing on sustainability and the circular economy.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
