Formula One racer Daniel Ricciardo will no longer be competing in the Dutch Grand Prix over the weekend after a broken wrist pulled him from the competition.
The 34-year-old driver was set to drive for AlphaTauri in the race. He was injured during a practice session on Friday (August 25). Daniel‘s replacement has been announced along with additional details about what happened. He was favoring his left hand upon exiting the vehicle, and doctors confirmed that he had a broken bone. He will be replaced in the race over the weekend by Liam Lawson. Daniel returned to F1 at the Hungarian Grand Prix back in July.
The celebrated driver was welcomed back with open arms from fans. We hope that he makes a full, speedy recovery and is able to get behind the wheel again soon.
