Erskine's Morrisons store raises money for charity with a bingo night

A supermarket held a Prize Bingo Night to raise money for a charity and give the local community some fun for the evening.The Morrisons store in Erskine raised £126 for their charity partner Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS).The event took place on Friday, July 15 at their Customer Café and the popular event will take place every last Wednesday of themonth. Elspeth Roxburgh, the Community Champion at the store, said: “CHAS is a fantastic Charity to be involved with, they help so many children and their families at a very difficult time.“It is fantastic that I am able to let our customers know that the money we raise in store will go to the Local Chas Hospice "Robin House" which is located in Balloch.”The charity CHAS cares and gives valuable support for children and their families either at their hospital or at one of their houses, like the Robin House.The Robin House can be seen as a home-from-home to many and has a range of facilities including a hydro pool, art room, den and large accessible garden and lots of areas for relaxing and fun.All are welcome at the bingo nights, no booking required, and the tickets are five pounds each and there are two additional Snowball tickets for 50p each.The store will also be hosting a Christmas market at their café in November and tables are now available to be booked.The booking of a table is £10 and all proceedings go to CHAS.
