Elon Musk Reveals When Twitter's Legacy Verified Accounts Will Lose Blue Checkmarks For Good

If you have a legacy verified account on Twitter, get ready to say goodbye to your blue checkmark very soon unless you want to pay to keep it. Elon Musk, the company’s new CEO and owner, has announced when accounts will be losing their blue checkmarks.

The only accounts that will keep their blue checkmarks are ones subscribed to Twitter Blue. For those who don’t know, Twitter Blue is priced different for every region and based on how you sign up.

In the U.S., it costs $11 a month or $114.99 a year for iOS or Android users and $8 a month or $84 a year for web users.
