The Government has announced plans to provide additional financial support to families who are struggling. The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) stated that they are committed to helping those who are finding it difficult to afford necessities.
This was revealed as part of the Government's long-term growth strategy. Many people have been anxious to find out when the next cost of living payments will be made.
However, no further cash injections were announced in the Spring Budget statement or its accompanying documents. Instead, the Chancellor has chosen to extend the DWP's Household Support Fund for another six months.
This is one of several measures being taken to assist those who continue to struggle financially.
