Donald John Trump (born June 14, 1946) is the 45th and current president of the United States. Before entering politics, he was a businessman and television personality. DWP clarifies Universal Credit rule for people with a partner they don't live with
manchestereveningnews.co.ukThe Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has issued a clarification for anyone making a claim for Universal Credit who has a partner they do not live with.
The DWP is sending hundreds of thousands of letters to benefit claimants who must move from old-style benefits to Universal Credit, or risk losing their payments entirely. 'Legacy' benefits including tax credits, housing benefit, income support, jobseeker's allowance and employment and support allowance are all coming to and end and will be replaced by Universal Credit, which is paid monthly.
The letters, called 'migration notices' are sent when it is time for you to move from your old benefits onto Universal Credit.
The notices state a deadline by which you must make your new claim for Universal Credit. READ MORE: DWP warning as 'tens of thousands more' affected by 'cruel' rule If you miss the deadline, which is three months from the date the letter was first sent out, your payments may stop entirely.
