Duncan Ferguson has made a sensational return to management with Inverness Caledonian Thistle. The former Scotland, Rangers, Everton and Newcastle United striker was unveiled as the new boss of the Scottish Championship after they sacked Billy Dodds after a poor start to the campaign, despite the axed boss leading the Highlanders to the Scottish Cup final against Celtic last season.
Ferguson currently has only one full-time managerial role stint under his belt, which comes in the form of his ill-fated reign at Forest Green.
Ferguson won just one of the 18 games he oversaw during a difficult spell as manager at the New Lawn Stadium that ended in relegation.
But the Inverness hierarchy have picked Ferguson as the man to get them out of trouble this season - with the 51-year-old earning his coaching credential during his time at Everton.
