Supermarket staff welcome teen charity champion who has raised more than £100,000 for young cancer patients to their store
PAISLEY DAILY EXPRESS: Live news as it happensStaff at the Anchor Mills store in Paisley have held lots of fun in-store events to try and raise as much money as they can.And they welcomed Jack Thompson, 13, a champion of the charity and lover of Morrisons stores, to the shop for a special visit.The store's community champion Sharon Dennison said: “When Jack was a baby he was diagnosed with a brain tumour. He had it removed and is now partially sighted.“He’s been a great fundraiser for Young Lives vs Cancer and has raised more than £120,000.“He loves Morrisons supermarkets so he’s been visiting as many as he can while we’re the charity partner.“He was here for about an hour and a half.
