The Stewartry’s longest-running music festival is set to return for its 26th year. Knockengorroch, which takes place in the hills above Carsphairn, offers something for every family member to enjoy – from stargazing and singing and music to dance workshops, crafting and more.

Next year’s festival will run from May 23 to 26, with the first acts across the eight stages due to be announced next month.

The gathering was founded in 1998 on the idea of bringing communities together and welcomes visitors of all thanks to a dedicated kids’ tent full of games and activities, with a party vibe for parents at night.

And Knockengorroch prides itself on its commitment to the Scottish languages and their future, which means regularly programming Scots language events and artists.
