Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

Drug mule destined for Scots city caught with 7.4kg of cannabis stuffed in suitcase

A drug mule caught wheeling a suitcase packed full of cannabis while attempting to travel to Aberdeen was rumbled by eagle-eyed train station staff, police have revealed.

Mahn Van Phan was later stopped by plain clothed officers from the British Transport Police as he strolled through Birmingham New Street station on May 11, 2022.The drug trafficker had entered the West Midlands station and purchased a rail ticket to the Granite City with cash that fateful morning.

But his suspicious behaviour set off alarm bells for a railway employee, who sent a text message to BTP.The 41-year-old was swiftly located by officers and a search was carried out which uncovered vacuum-packed bags of cannabis in his suitcase and rucksack, which weighed a whopping 7.4kg.Phan, from London, pleaded guilty to possession of a Class B substance with intent to supply at Birmingham Crown Court and was sentenced to two years and seven months imprisonment on January 6.Detective Constable Mohit Behl, investigating officer in the case, said: “This was a particularly brazen attempt to move drugs across the UK using the rail network.

We deploy specialist units, including plain clothes officers and drugs dogs, on the railway every day to tackle county lines activity. “Anyone attempting to move commodities on the railway in this manner is extremely naïve – we will catch you and bring you to justice.
