'Downton Abbey' Stars Attend 'Hello, Dolly!' Opening Night In London Amid Filming on Third Movie
justjared.comSome of the cast of Downton Abbey reunited for a little musical night out! Sophie McShera, Phyllis Logan, Jim Carter and Lesley Nicol hit the red carpet for a group photo at the opening night of Hello, Dolly! at London Palladium on Thursday (July 18) in London.
The co-stars were also joined by Jim‘s daughter and Bridgerton actress Bessie Carter, as well as Hannah Waddingham, Jim Broadbent and David Morrissey. Sophie, Phyllis, Jim and Lesley all took time to attend the musical’s UK opening amid filming the upcoming third Downton Abbey film to show support for their former co-star Imelda Staunton, who is starring in the production.
Production on the movie started just a few weeks ago! The four stars will be reprising their roles in the movie, which was recently given a September 2025 release date.
Series creator Julian Fellowes will serve as writer and Downton Abbey: A New Era‘s Simon Curtis will return to direct.
