Ralf Little has opened up about his departure from the hit BBC series Death In Paradise, revealing that he wanted to stay on the show for "20 more years".The beloved actor shared that deep down, he would have loved to continue playing the lead detective role of Neville Parker in the sun-soaked crime drama.

The 44 year old, famed for his roles in Two Pints Of Lager And A Packet Of Crisps and The Royle Family, bid farewell to the show set in the picturesque Caribbean at the end of last month, after a successful four-year stint.

Ralf, who became the longest-serving DI as Neville Parker, left fans emotional with his character's exit to follow his love interest DS Florence Cassell, portrayed by Josephine Jobert.
