The 50th Annual Daytime Emmys, which were originally set to air in June, has a new airdate. The show will now air live on Dec.
15 on CBS. The original telecast of June 16 had to be canceled because of the labor dispute. The Creative Arts & Lifestyle ceremony, originally scheduled for June 17, was also postponed.
This year marks the 17th time CBS has broadcast the Daytime Emmys, more than any other network. Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner of Entertainment Tonight will host the ceremony from the Westin Bonaventure Los Angeles.
Daytime Emmy Award-winning actress Susan Lucci, who was previously announced, will receive her Lifetime Achievement Honors at the gala awards ceremony.
