Crossbow suspect Kyle Clifford arrested for triple murder as 'investigation moves at pace'

Kyle Clifford, the man suspected of the horrific crossbow murders that claimed the lives of three family members of BBC racing commentator John Hunt has been formally arrested by police..The 26 year old is currently still in hospital in a serious condition after being tracked down following a manhunt around Enfield, north London.Tragically, Carol Hunt, 61, wife of BBC 5 Live's John Hunt, and their two daughters, Hannah, 28, and Louise, 25, were discovered with fatal injuries at their home in Ashlyn Close, Bushey, Hertfordshire, shortly after 7pm on Tuesday.

Detective Superintendent Rob Hall, leading the investigation from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire's major crime unit, said the investigation was "moving at pace". "Our thoughts remain with the victims' family at this tragic time," he said. "The investigation is moving at pace and as a result, we have now arrested a man.

Inquiries are continuing at this time." After an urgent police appeal to locate him, Kyle was found injured at Lavender Hill Cemetery in Enfield, north London, on Wednesday afternoon.

In a heartfelt show of support, friends of the Hunt family gathered for a vigil at St James' Church in Bushey on Thursday, where they honoured the memory of the three women.
