Beloved music stars killed in tragic plane crash leaving fans devastated

US family gospel group, The Nelons, are in mourning after three of their members tragically perished in a plane crash, according to an announcement from their management.

Jason Clark, Kelly Nelon Clark and their daughter, Amber Kistler, were killed on Friday – they had been due to perform on a cruise ship.

Unfortunately, the fatal accident in north-eastern Wyoming claimed the lives of seven people, including Amber's husband, Nathan Kistler.The crash sparked off a wildfire around 1pm, North of the Gillette town, as reported by Campbell County's Facebook page.

Gaither Management Group shared their heartbreak over Instagram: "One of the best loved Gospel music families in America, The Nelons were involved in a tragic, fatal plane crash on Friday afternoon on their way to join the Gaither Homecoming Cruise to Alaska." "Killed in the crash were Jason and Kelly Nelon Clark, Amber and Nathan Kistler and their assistant, Melodi Hodges, along with the pilot, Larry Haynie and his wife, Melissa.The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the accident." Autumn Nelon Streetman, the youngest daughter of the Clarks who was not present on the plane, mournfully announced: "As many of you have heard by now, my father and mother, Jason and Kelly Nelon Clark, along with my sister, Amber and brother-in-law, Nathan, as well as our dear friends Melodi Hodges, Larry and Melissa Haynie were involved in a tragic plane crash on Friday."
