Coronation Street slapped with official Ofcom complaints after star left 'guilty'

Coronation Street has found itself being slapped with a number of official complaints from upset viewers. The ITV soap attracted 135 Ofcom complaints from viewers regarding an episode aired towards the end of last month (November).

The episode in question, broadcast on November 22, saw Liam Connor's bullying hell continue and take a shocking twist. New Weatherfield High bully Mason Radcliffe was seen tormenting Liam with his pals before he pulled out a knife to threaten his innocent and heartbroken victim.

Unbeknownst to Liam, his step-sibling Jake Windass contacted the police and soon, Mason was stopped in the street by PC Craig Tinker and was searched but to no avail and things have only gotten worse for Liam. She didn't believe him and sent him off to school, where he found himself in Mrs Crawshaw's office over the mention of selling vapes.
