Last month, the actor seemingly confirmed he was single again after years of dating former co-star Tisha Merry. Alan known for his role as Tyrone Dobbs in the ITV soap, met Tisha, who played Steph Britton on the cobbles between 2013 to 2018, on set and they began dating shortly after she left the show.
It was reported the pair had split and last month, Alan shared a humorous moment on Instagram which led him to make a dig at single life, and suggesting he might be using dating apps to find a new partner.
The 41-year-old actor shared the funny moment a playful dog attempted to mount him. He posted a picture of the dog, captioning it with a face-in-hand emoji: "Apparently we're not best friends.
