It was somewhat of a vintage episode of the ITV soap on Monday night (August 7) as the Weatherfield residents packed out the Rovers Return.
But as Jenny Connor battles to save the pub not everything was smooth sailing as, with the help of Daisy Migeley and Glenda Shuttleworth, she put on a special night to impress potential buyers, the Newtons, of Newton and Ridley.
Things didn't go to plan from the get-go as Glenda, who had planned to sing during the pub night, came down with a sore throat leaving her almost voiceless.
