Concerns 'escalating' for diabetic Scots woman missing for five days

A desperate search has been launched to find a diabetic Scots woman who has been missing for over five days. Lisa Wotherspoon was last seen at around 6am on Friday, September 29 having been reported missing from Vulcan Street, Motherwell.The 37-year-old's family have made desperate pleas for help for the mum-of-two to come home after revealing she has not access to insulin since Friday.

Now, police are appealing for the public’s help to trace Lisa. She is described as 5ft 6, slim build, with long blonde hair.

Lisa is possibly wearing purple shorts and a purple hoody. Her family has revealed that there might have been a possible sighting of her in Perth on Sunday evening but that has not been confirmed by police.In a post to Facebook, they said: "Concerns are escalating as Lisa Wotherspoon is still missing.

Lisa is a diabetic and has not had access to her insulin since she went missing from the Motherwell area on Friday. "There was a possible sightings of Lisa in a Tesco car park on Sunday night, she looked really upset and was looking for the train station in Perth.
