A Coatbridge foodbank has scooped £15,000 to help its dedicated team of volunteers.Charity People's Pantry was one of three great causes across the West of Scotland to be awarded a share of a £25,000 funding pot, thanks to Scotmid’s Community Connect initiative, with the funds allocated following a vote by Scotmid members.People’s Pantry secured £15,000 which will assist the foodbank's team to continue providing aid to "anyone experiencing food insecurity, as a one-off emergency supply or on a more regular basis, if required".The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
