Chris Pratt Starts Filming New Movie 'The Way of the Warrior Kid' in Los Angeles
justjared.comChris Pratt is getting to work on the set of his new movie The Way of the Warrior Kid. On Thursday (August 22), the 45-year-old actor was spotted filming scenes for the project in Los Angeles.
This marks the first time that we’ve seen him working on the movie, which is based on a novel of the same name from Jock Willink.
He sported a clean-shaved face and was simply dressed in a pair of khakis and a short-sleeved, button-up shirt. Keep reading to find out more… According to Deadline, the movie was snatched up by Skydance in June, making for one of the biggest deals to come from Cannes in years. Chris will play a character named Jake, “an elite Navy SEAL” who develops a special bond with his nephew after moving in with his sister.
Here’s a synopsis from the outlet: “When he discovers his 11-year-old nephew Marc is struggling academically, socially and physically, Jake takes on a new mission: using his SEAL Team training over three months of summer to help the youth find his inner warrior.” It’ll be directed by McG!
