Tributes paid to former East Kilbride Labour councillor
East Kilbride Labour councillor, Gerry Docherty, was first elected in 1999 and stood down prior to the 2007 elections. He served on a number of committees including corporate resources, of which he became depute chair in 2003, as well as the East Kilbride area and planning committees.Gerry was also involved with EK Arts Council and EK Arts Centre Trust as well as APSE (Transport Services).The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
