Man Discovered Dead Inside Walk-In Freezer In 'Unfortunate Incident' At North Carolina Grocery Store

A North Carolina grocery store employee was found dead in the store’s walk-in freezer. On Tuesday morning, police officers in the city of Raleigh were called to the scene of a Food Lion on Capital Boulevard to investigate a report of a deceased person.

When officers arrived around 7:00 a.m. local time, they confirmed there was in fact a dead adult male located in the supermarket’s walk-in freezer.

They did not release the man’s name but later confirmed with People and other media outlets that he was a supermarket employee.

They’re investigating further into the cause of his death.
