The Eagles will take flight on their highly-anticipated ‘Eagles — Live In Concert at Sphere’ residency after announcing the 20-concert stay back in June.According to a press release, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and co.
will deliver “the ultimate connection’ to the group’s iconic catalog — including their acclaimed 1976 ‘Hotel California’ album — with an ‘immersive’ live experience.”While we don’t know exactly what to expect from that claim, our team dug around Set List FM and found the Rock Hall of Famers typically played 20ish songs at past live shows.
It appears they play the hits (“Hotel California,” “Life In The Fast Lane,” “Heartache Tonight”) and throw in Henley solo cuts and Walsh’s James Gang classics as well.As for what visuals they incorporate into their Sphere gigs, that’s anyone’s guess.
All we know is that they’ll likely be on par with the spectacular graphics worked into U2, Phish and Dead and Company‘s electric, ambitious, one-of-a-kind Sphere concerts.
