Cash and Stone Island coat stolen after gang of five target men in 'distressing' robbery

Two men were chased through a Tameside town centre by a gang of five before having cash and a Stone Island jacket stolen. Three teenage boys have been arrested after two men were targeted by robbers in the early hours.

Officers were called to reports of an incident outside the Prince of Orange pub on Warrington Street, Ashton-under-Lyne, at around 1am today (April 4).

Greater Manchester Police says two men were targeted by a group of five males, who briefly managed to escape before being caught up again on Market Street.

One man had a blue Stone Island coat and money stolen from him, while the other victim also had money taken from him by the group.
