Boiling Point fans left gutted as BBC sequel is 'ruined' by glitch

Viewers who tuned into the debut of the new spin-off series to Stephen Graham's film Boiling Point were left disappointed at the weekend as the show appeared to experience a technical glitch which "ruined" the programme for many people.The show which aired on Sunday night was based on the original film and set in a bustling restaurant kitchen as it followed the life of chef Andy Jones, played by Stephen Graham, as he navigated through crises during one of the busiest nights of the year.The award-winning actor, who first found fame as Andrew "Combo" Gascoigne in This Is England, returned to screens as he appeared in the four-part sequel to the 2021 film.

The critically acclaimed film focused on an especially stressful evening in a popular London restaurant around Christmas time.Graham plays a charismatic and commanding head chef who finds his personal and professional worlds falling apart.

The sequel picks up with Carly (Vinette Robinson) now running a restaurant with the old team, while Andy is at home depressed.The spin-off takes place eight months after the events of the film, with Graham reprising his role as Andy.

However, several viewers reported audio issues that ruined their viewing experience, reports the Mirror.One viewer wrote on Twitter: "I've had to put subtitles on", while another commented: "I was looking forward to Boiling Point but the audio is dreadful.
