Body found in search for missing Scots man Jamie Stenhouse
dailyrecord.co.ukA body has been found in the search for a Scots man who was reported missing at the weekend. Jamie Stenhouse, from Edinburgh, was last seen around 11am on Saturday, December 10, in the Gilmerton area of the city.
Police have now confirmed they received a report of a man dying in a wooded area near to Ellen's Glen Loan, Edinburgh, around 10.40am on Monday.
Formal identification is yet to take place but the man is believed to be 34-year-old Jamie. His family have been notified and enquiries remain ongoing.
There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.A Police Scotland statement said: "Around 10.40am on Monday, 12 December, 2022, police received a report a man had died in a wooded area near to Ellen's Glen Loan, Edinburgh."A formal identification is still to take place but the man is believed to be 34-year-old Jamie Stenhouse, who was missing from Gilmerton, Edinburgh.
