Matt McBriar, known for being one half of electronic DJ duo Bicep alongside childhood friend Andy, took to Instagram to share a heartfelt update on his health this week - revealing to fans that he has been diagnosed with a rare brain tumour named Craniopharyngioma.Taking to the official Bicep page, the musician shared a picture of himself from the hospital and detailed how he underwent surgery last week, assuring fans that the operation went well and the tumour is 'almost certainly' not cancerous.

Opening up about the whole process so far, none of which he has spoken about before, Matt explained in the lengthy caption that the tumour was initially found at the beginning of the year - after he noticed some symptoms cropping up.

He began: "Towards the end of 2023, I got some intense localised headaches matched with a weird fatigue that felt new. I got several blood tests in spring 2024 which came back indicating that something was wrong, so my GP arranged an MRI followed by a CT scan.
