One of the country’s biggest music conferences and festivals will be returning to Manchester for the second year in a row next week.

Beyond the Music, which was created by Oli Wilson, son of Factory Legends music impresario Tony Wilson, debuted last year in a bid to host a forum where music fans, artists and industry leaders could debate the key issues facing the industry as well as giving a platform to celebrate local and emerging talent.

Last year’s event featured keynote and panel discussions from the likes of Rita Ora, Rowetta, and Aitch, alongside gigs and takeovers at some of the most beloved music venues across the city centre.
