BBC Strictly's Anton Du Beke takes swipe at former dance partners
dailyrecord.co.ukAnton Du Beke had some unexpected words about his former Strictly Come Dancing partners.After watching Angela Rippon, 79, dance at a London's O2 Arena performance for the Strictly tour, the pro dancer turned judge complimented the star while making a playful jibe at some of his ex-partners on the BBC show.Following Angela's impressive routine, as writes the Mirror, where she performed the splits, Anton amusingly said: "Some of my partners can't make it down the stairs unaided never mind that..."Anton has danced with celebrities such as Ann Widdicombe, Ruth Langsford, Kate Garraway and Judy Murray.
His last partner was Jacqui Smith, who was the first to be voted out, leading to Anton stepping down from his professional role on the show.It comes after the star unveiled the results of a hair transplant recently, stating he did the procedure to imitate EastEnders actor and current Strictly sensation Bobby Brazier.
During an appearance on Loose Women, Anton cheerfully said: "It's all mine, I just had it shifted about."Explaining the process he added, "They take it off the back and have it replanted at the front, he's (the doctor) an absolute genius.
I want to be like Bobby, wafting in the air being gorgeous and youthful."The Strictly judge continued to share his experience, saying: "I'm sharing my experience with people who are thinking about it and just reassuring them really, and saying 'Listen, do it.
