Former Sweden international Henrik Larsson has opened up on his short stay at Manchester United in 2007. The former striker arrived on loan at Old Trafford in January 2007 from Swedish club Helsingborgs IF.
Larsson scored three goals for Sir Alex Ferguson's side during a three-month spell in Manchester before returning to his parent club in March that year.
And now the 52-year-old has opened up on his time at United which saw him make 13 appearances in all competitions. He reveals how on one occasion, Sir Alex arranged a private jet after a game so that he could return home for a christening involving a family member. He arranged a private jet for me to get home after a game. I was only there for 10 weeks but he made me feel so welcome. "I was living at the Lowry [hotel].
