Strictly Come Dancing staff have slammed Nigel Harman after claiming he suffered from "backstage mood swings".The BBC crew have been reportedly left "relieved" after the actor was forced to quit due to an injury, reports the Mirror.The soap star and professional dance partner Katya Jones were left heartbroken after they announced the news that they had to step down from the competition before the quarter-finals.
Nigel reportedly injured his ribs in a painful rehearsal injury just hours before Saturday's live show. A Strictly insider told the Mirror: "It is always sad when a contestant leaves the show, particularly when an injury is sustained.
Nigel will be well missed by those who have worked alongside him on the show and everyone wishes him the very best and looks forward to seeing him at the final on Saturday 16th December."Now, a TV source has opened up on backstage crew experiencing difficulties with the former EastEnders actor when he became frustrated with disappointing scores and negative feedback from judges.The source said: "Nigel takes himself very seriously as a performer and throws himself heart and soul into things.
So obviously he’s very emotional if things don’t go as he hoped. That often means that he can be like a bear with a sore head backstage.
