The two stars have had a number of heated moments of the years, boiling over in 2018 when they met in the last 16 of the World Championship.
They knocked shoulders as the Rocket went to take a shot - before Carter grinned at the crowd and said 'you're Mr Angry.' It seems this time it was Carter getting a little heated up though as Shaun Murphy, the world no.6 who was knocked out by O'Sullivan on his way to the final, spotted a moment between him and a couple of fans while he was on commentary duties.
As O'Sullivan was clearing up to take the tenth frame, which cut Carter's lead in the match to 6-4, Murphy said: "I've just watched out of the corner of my eye, before Carter played that shot. "He had a small interaction with a couple of members of the audience who were shouting out for O'Sullivan.
