Kyan Gunn has made a permanent move from Airdrie to Clyde, having failed to break into the first-team at New Broomfield.Gunn, 18, made an explosive debut, scoring in a 2-0 League Cup group stages win over St Mirren last season, but failed to tie down regular football. The attacking midfielder was on an amateur registration at Airdrie and will continue with that at Clyde until the end of this season. He drops down two leagues from the Championship to League Two.Gunn has trained with Clyde in recent weeks, and goes into their squad for today’s match at East Fife.Clyde head coach Brian McLean said: “Kyan is a hungry and enthusiastic player who leaves everything out on the pitch.“That’s the level of commitment we need, and it’s a fantastic trait to have at such a young age.“I’m delighted to welcome him on board.”A statement issued on Airdrie’s social media said: “Kyan Gunn has moved to Clyde on a permanent deal and leaves with our thanks and best wishes for the future.”Follow Lanarkshire Live Sport onTwitter via@LanLiveSport, like us onFacebookor find us onInstagramfor the latest sports news, pictures and video.
