Laura Hamilton has returned to social media after taking a break "out of respect" for her late A Place in the Sun co-star Jonnie Irwin, who sadly passed away aged 50.
Laura, 41, shared a post on Instagram on 9 February marking Jonnie's passing, which was announced on 2 February, and also revealed she's running the London Marathon later this year to raise funds for WellChild. The charity helps children and young people with serious illnesses.
In a nod to "friend and work colleague" Jonnie, Laura said his passing is a "reminder" that "life is short" and people should focus on making the most of "every minute". "You might have noticed I've been a little quiet on my socials out of respect of a friend and work colleague that we lost.
It's a reminder to us all that life is short and we must make the most of every minute," Laura wrote on Instagram. She shared photos from a recent training session in her home gym as she prepares to run the gruelling 26.2 miles run later this year.
