After their break-up, Mel B found herself short of money and had to move into her mum Andrea's bungalow, sharing a bed with her three kids - Phoenix, Angel and Madison.
Despite her successful career, she felt she had 'nowhere to go' due to the impact of the relationship. "Because I was so badly affected financially from my relationship, I had to pick up the pieces," she shared, recalling how she only had £700 in her bank account after losing control of her finances during her marriage to Stephen.
She also claimed that she didn't have access to a credit card while they were together. Five years on, she's back on her feet and has moved out of her mum's home.
