He used the opportunity to hype up the record, which he revealed to NME earlier this year would be a Britpop-inspired concept album.He expanded on the idea with The Osbournes, telling them: “The record we’re making at the minute is probably the closest to a rock opera we’ve ever done.
So it’s made to be played start-to-finish, which is a really cool thing to do.”“The opening song’s nine-minutes,” he added, before Sharon Osbourne asked when it’s due out.
He replied: “Probably early next year, I would say. It’s a fucking big idea, so I want to get it right. I don’t want a shit rock opera.
