Ethan Shanfeld “Minari” Oscar winner Youn Yuh-jung has joined Season 2 of “Beef.” Netflix officially announced on Wednesday that the series, from Lee Sung Jin and A24, would return for a second season with Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, Charles Melton and Cailee Spaeny.

The logline for the eight-episode Season 2 goes as follows: “A young couple witnesses an alarming fight between their boss and his wife, triggering chess moves of favors and coercion in the elitist world of a country club and its Korean billionaire owner.” “Beef” was originally a limited series starring Steven Yeun and Ali Wong that became a breakout hit on Netflix and won eight Emmys — including for best limited series, directing, writing and acting for both Yeun and Wong.

In Season 1, Yeun and Wong played Danny Cho and Amy Lau, two strangers in Los Angeles whose lives become entangled after a road rage incident.
