A grant of £12,500 has been awarded to the Dumbarton charity to help kickstart their project, which bosses hope will offer clients the opportunity to learn and develop new skills whilst beating drug habits.Management consultant Steve Callaghan told the Lennox he was optimistic about the future of the site.He said: “For years we’ve been putting clients into work placements, but obviously because of the nature of their situation they can be erratic and these don’t always work out.“We therefore decided to create safe environments within the structure of Alternatives, somewhere that allows clients to drop back a few notches and then build themselves back up.
