A woman has hit out at Uber after claiming her daughter was wrongfully charged an £80 cleaning fee for being sick in a taxi.

Zoe Wigglesworth's daughter Kia, 20, used the app to order a ride home after a night out in Bolton in the early hours of July 8.

After checking, Kia realised she had been charged over £100 for the trip, which should have been just £21.99. When she queried the fare, Kia was told she had been charged extra for a cleaning fee after she was sick - despite her claiming she did not vomit.
