A young woman who believes she is Madeleine McCann "didn't receive anything" for appearing on Dr Phil.Julia Wendell was welcomed by the talk show host to discuss her claims that she is the missing girl who disappeared in 2007 at the age of three while on holiday with her family in Portugal.
Detectives have spent millions trying to figure out what happened to Madeleine. The Polish woman, who also goes by the names of Julia Faustyna or Julia Wandelt, discussed her early memories and showed pictures of herself as a child to try and support her claims on the US chat show.
However, as reported by the Mirror, private investigator and medium Dr Fia Johansson has now taken to Instagram to say Julia wasn't paid for the interview.
Dr Fia, who is helping Julia, said: "We didn't actually get a dime to be involved with Dr Phil's show. We didn't receive anything, Julia [didn't] receive anything, Julia just went on the stage and was herself and told the truth."A lot of you ask if Julia made some sort of money by going to any type of press, Radar [RadarOnline] for example, all other things… no.
