Wishaw pub packed as kind-hearted punters raise £5000 for cancer charity

A Wishaw pub was packed to the rafters as punters raised more than £5000 for a cancer charit last week.Staff and regulars at The Cherry Tree in Netherton turned out in force in order to raise vital funds for Cancer Research UK.Auction prizes on the night included a Scotland top signed by Arsenal star Kieran Tierney, a bottle of whisky worth almost £1000, a Ferrari signed shirt, a classic car ride, a signed Motherwell FC and tickets to Fir Park plus a signed Celtic match ball.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
