A new ITV drama exploring the shocking manhunt of killer Raoul Moat won't include an unusual moment featuring Paul Gascoigne.

Moat, 37, was locked in a six-hour stand-off with police in summer 2010 after going on a shooting rampage and evading authorities.

Less than two days after being released from prison for assaulting a relative, the bodybuilder and club bouncer headed to a house in Birtley, Gateshead where he shot and killed Christopher Brown and injured Samantha Stobbart.
