In 2010 the country was rocked by Britain's biggest manhunt and 13 years on, ITV are set to shine a light on the human tragedies that lay behind the horror told through the eyes of those who sought to bring a violent killer to justice in its new drama.

The Hunt For Raoul Moat begins on Sunday night (April 16) and the three episodes will air consecutively. The drama focuses on the innocent victims of Moat's crimes - Christopher Brown, Samantha Stobbart and PC David Rathband; the police officers who put themselves in the firing line in their quest to apprehend Moat; and the local journalist who sought to tell Moat’s real story in a landscape of sensationalist reporting and social media provocation.

The A Word and Inspector George Gently actor Lee Ingleby plays Neil Adamson, a senior Northumbria Police Officer leading the race against time to apprehend Moat, The Last Kingdom's Sonya Cassidy as local journalist Diane Barnwell, Very and Three Girls actress Vineeta Rishi as Nisha Roberts, Chernobyl actor Josef Davis as Christopher Brown.and Doc Martin star Sally Messham as Samantha Stobbart.
